Teresina Vazquez Aguilar

I am Señora Vázquez and teach Spanish at Johnnie Carr Middle School.

In this class, you are going to have a wonderful time exploring the Spanish language and culture. Together we will study the vocabulary, culture, grammar, and pronunciation. We will learn the discipline and effort required to learn a foreign language. We will also discuss career opportunities open to students of a foreign language.

Eight thematic units will divide this class. Each of them will have four parts: vocabulary, grammar, reading and culture, and speaking. At the beginning of each Unit, you will know the objectives of the chapter as well as the learning goals. You will learn the vocabulary for the unit, the grammar, and explanations of how that unit will be graded, instructions for projects, and all the practice activities you will be completed during the unit.

I had the opportunity to travel to different countries, such as Singapore, France, Switzerland, Italy, Canada, and Peru.

I am confident that all my students will be successful in this class if they put hard work and dedication into it. It is my responsibility to make my students succeed, which is why I will provide them with all the necessary tools and resources. Their success in this class will depend on their abilities to study frequently and review the new content.
